Welcome to the Cytobank Development Blog
The development team here at Cytobank is going to use this blog to discuss some of the technology we use and probably some other stuff that is of interest to us. We’re currently using JRuby, Rails, Java, MySQL, jQuery, and Haml/Sass for the app, but we’re also likely headed into NoSQL territory with future performance optimizations. You can expect discussions related to our experiences with some or all of those technologies. In the future we’ll ideally share some of our utility code through our Github account and talk about it here as well. Feel free to leave us comments and questions as well. We’re always happy to talk shop.
